About

I acquired the B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece, in 2006, and the M.Sc. degree (with distinction) in Computer Science from the University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K., in 2011.
I hold a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol (2016). I worked as a Research Associate in the University College London (UCL) from March 2016 until August 2016 with Dr Gianluca Stringhini's team before I join the University of the West of Bristol (UWE Bristol) as a Senior Lecturer.
My current research interests include Digital Forensics (with a focus on the Android operating system) and Usable Security.

In the past I worked at the banking sector and I have also been a Mathematics Teacher in Greece (secondary education).

I also worked as a researcher during my PhD studies on two European funded projects (“ForToo”, “nifty”).

I enjoy travelling and my intentions are to visit every part of the world.

I am familiar with concepts like SCADA forensics, data mining, data hiding, steganalysis, social network analysis, and human aspects of information security, privacy, and trust.
