In a nutshell


I am interested in Computer Security in general. In my free time I enjoy running and I always seek new opportunities for travelling. I like photography, swimming and hiking.


I currently teach undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of the West of England. I am affiliated with the following modules: Computer Crime and Digital Evidence, Forensic Computing Practice, Security and Forensic Tools, Introduction to Databases, Cyber Security Futures Emerging Trends and Challenges.

Research Group

I am affiliated with the Computer Science Research Centre (CSRC) at UWE Bristol.


My research is currently focused on Spam and Malware Detection and on Human Aspects of Cyber Security. I am a JSPS and a Higher Education Academy Fellow and my research was recently funded by the Royal Society, UWE Bristol, JSPS and the Sasakawa Foundation.



I am from Greece. I spend my summers at the beautiful island of Lesvos. I live and work in Bristol, United Kingdom.


My recent work is focused on Android security and usability. I am also interested in Human Aspects of Cyber Security.
