In a nutshell


I am interested in Computer Security in general. In my free time I enjoy running and I always seek new opportunities for travelling. I like photography, swimming and hiking.


I currently teach undergraduate students at the University of the West of England. I am affiliated with the following modules: Computer Crime and Digital Evidence, Forensic Computing Practice, Security and Forensic Tools, Introduction to Databases.

Research Group

I am affiliated with the Cyber Security Research Unit (@UWE_CSRU), which is part of the Centre for Complex Cooperative Systems (CCCS) in UWE Bristol.


My research is currently focused on Spam and Malware Detection and on Human Aspects of Cyber Security. I am a JSPS Fellow and I was recently awarded the UWE Vice Chancellor's Early Career Researcher Development Awards.



I am from Greece. I spend my summers at the beautiful island of Lesvos. I live and work in Bristol, United Kingdom.


My recent work is focused on Android security and usability. I am also interested in Human Aspects of Cyber Security.
